Kinga Gronek-Bokota - Atelier

My name is Kinga Gronek-Bokota. I am a visual artist from Poland, currently based in Hamburg, Germany. In my artistic practice. I create wall-mounted bas-reliefs made of papier-mâché, as well as mixed media illustrations in the area of naive art.

My artistic style is rooted in reconnecting with my inner child — the little Kinga who was once told what to do and how to do it. Through my art, I consciously reject the pressure to create in a highly realistic or traditionally “perfect” way. Instead, I allow myself to create as my younger self would have — freely, intuitively, and without judgement.

I believe that art does not need to be serious or flawless to hold meaning. I want my work to evoke a sense of childlike joy — the kind many of us keep hidden deep within.

Ultimately, I hope my works bring viewers a moment of peace and comfort.
